Miranda "Ran" Weingartner

Here, we slow down. We listen beneath the surface. We explore what's alive in your spiritual life without judgment or doctrine. You don't have to believe anything in particular to find refuge here. You just have to be willing to pay attention to what's true for you.
Spiritual companioning is sacred time to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what's alive in your spiritual life.
Spiritual companions support the unique spiritual journey of every individual. It inspires people to experience authenticity in their lives as they connect with and explore the ground of all being, that deepest of truths which is beyond life and death and goes by many names - Spirit, Universe, Creator, God -
or no name at all.

I'm a spiritual companion trained through Jubilee Ontario's two-year formation program and a member in good standing of Spiritual Directors International.I'm also someone who's lived a lot of life. I'm queer. I've been in recovery for 21 years.
I live with ADHD and clinical depression. I'm a survivor of intimate partner violence and traumatic loss. I've moved through deep darkness and found my way back to light - not once, but several times.I'm an artist and a seeker. I work with dreams, tarot, ritual, and creativity as doorways to the sacred. I've spent years in community organizing, healthcare, and mental health work, always asking: How do we create space for healing? How can we imagine better futures and bring them to life?I'm a settler of Swabian and Irish descent, living and practicing on Anishinaabeg land protected by the Treaty of 1850. I'm learning to decolonize my mind and spirit, and to be in right relationship with this land that welcomes me.I companion others because I know what it's like to need companioning. I know grief. I know recovery. I know the terrifying beauty of spiritual transformation. I know what it's like to wrestle with impossible questions about suffering, meaning, why we're here, how to live with what we cannot change. And I know that we need each other to find our way.I live in the woods of Northern Ontario with my beautiful wife and our dog Priya, where I'm learning to listen to the land and tend the small sacred things.
I believe every person should have a fair opportunity for a dignified, productive, and creative life. So, like many others, I offer a sliding scale.I know it can be challenging to know what to pay when someone says "pay what you can". Here is a Sliding Scale Guide to help you find a payment that works for you. You are invited to pay as you are able.No questions asked.A Zen teacher once said to me: "Give until you feel generous."
